We offer services for older people and for caregivers such as:

  • Four different monthly caregiver support groups: Southern Door, Northern Door, Sturgeon Bay and Washington Island
  • Funding opportunities for respite care (breaks for caregivers)
  • Information and assistance for family caregivers
  • Long-term care consultation
  • Information sharing and assistance with referral to various local resources
  • Benefit counseling: Medicaid, Social Security Disability, Prescription Drug Assistance, Social Security Retirement, FoodShare, Medicare, Insurance Issues, etc...
  • Information about care options including in-home care, personal care, assisted living and nursing home facilities
  • Senior dining meal sites: Brussels, Sturgeon Bay, Baileys Harbor, Liberty Grove and Washington Island
  • Home-Delivered Meals - Meals On Wheels
  • Home-delivered or carryout frozen meals
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Exercise room
  • Transportation/rides to access medical care, groceries, activities or running errands, etc...
  • Elder abuse information and reporting assistance
  • Wellness programs 

An Aging and Disability Resource Center, or ADRC, offers the general public a single source for information and assistance on issues and challenges affecting older adults (age 60 and older) and people with disabilities (age 18 and older) regardless of their income. Our information and assistance is free and confidential.
