2024 PFS Caregiver Brief | Act on RAISE

Policy Brief: How the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule advances support for family caregivers.

Caregivers As Partners in Care Teams

The Caregivers as Partners in Care Teams (CAP-CT) Caregiver Training Billing Guides are designed to help health care teams navigate reimbursement for caregiver training and education, allowing teams to more adequately address the comprehensive needs of caregivers.

The guides include the new billing codes introduced in the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, with the goal of enhancing patient care by equipping caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to support their loved one, while also managing their own health.

Caregiver Centered Care Training

Adapted in collaboration with the University, this training helps professionals and community members build the relational skills needed to truly support family caregivers. Whether you work in healthcare, social services, community outreach, or simply want to better support caregivers in your community, this training provides practical tools you can apply right away.

How to Make the Most of Your CMS GUIDE Benefits

Better Caregiving for All is a monthly virtual series hosted by the UCLA Alzheimer's and Dementia Care (ADC) Program.

The material covered each month addresses the needs of populations that have not been the focus of traditional caregiver training and education in the past.

Each session will feature a content expert and caregivers who will share their knowledge and experience in caring for individuals with dementia.
