Mission: The Wisconsin Family and Caregiver Support Alliance (WFACSA) is a grassroots coalition of family caregivers, professionals, advocates, and educators working together to strengthen support for Wisconsin families.
We believe that family caregivers are the backbone of our care system, providing critical support to older adults and people of all ages with disabilities. Our Alliance brings diverse voices together to:
- Address the needs of family caregivers across the state.
- Improve coordination of resources to make caregiving easier and more sustainable.
- Increase access to services and supports for caregivers and their loved ones.
- Advance policies and partnerships that ensure families can thrive into the future.
Values: Through collaboration and advocacy, we aim to build a Wisconsin where every family caregiver has the recognition, resources, and respect they deserve.
A family caregiver is anyone—relative, friend, or neighbor—who provides unpaid support to someone who needs help due to illness, disability, or aging.
